The story of the Uluwatu Kecak dance is taken from the Ramayana story which tells of a very wise King named Sang Rama Dewa who is trying to save his consort “Dewi Sita” He was kidnapped by a very evil giant king named Ravana. In order to find and save his wife, King Rama took a long and very dangerous journey accompanied only by his younger brother, Laksamana.
